For six weeks they will be introducing you to the concept of using exercise to develop all of the key physical elements you need to improve your golf swing and to prevent injury.
This introductory golf performance enhancement program is aimed at new golfers and high handicappers with little to no gym experience. My goal is to introduce you to golf specific exercises and conditioning routines, that will give you the confidence and the knowledge, that you need to train, to improve your game.
At the end of this six weeks you can expect to see;
- Improved core stability
- Better separation between your upper and your lower body
- More width in your swing
- A better set up posture
- Increased balance for an improved weight shift and postural control through your swing.

Program Seven Day Overview
Monday: Gym Session: Golf fitness training
Tuesday: Stretching Session
Wednesday: Gym Session: Golf fitness training
Thursday: Yoga Session: Golfer Yoga
Friday: Golf Practise: Coaching or driving range
Saturday: Golf
Sunday: Golf
Program Prerequisites
This program requires no previous gym experience. All you need is the desire to develop a better swing. If you are capable of playing 18 holes you can safely do this program. As with any exercise program, we do recommend that you consult your physician for clearance. If you feel pain, dizziness, or nausea with any of the exercises stop and report to your doctor immediatly.
Average session duration:
Training Sessions: 45 minutes
Stretch : 10 minutes
Average weekly time commitment: 2 hours
Addtional time commitment varies depending on option and duration of personal golf games.
This program requires the following equipment:
A piece of cardio equipment like a stationary bike, treadmill or skipping rope
