How Long Should Your Workouts Actually Last?

Great question! One that is so often confused! When it comes to exercise, your goal is to create the stress that causes change, than rest, allowing your body to recuperate. Two hour gym sessions! Come on! Unless you are chemically enhanced your body cannot possibly respond properly to this!

Have you been practically living in the gym in the hopes that the payoff will be huge?  Well, if you’ve read that you don’t even begin to grow muscle until you’re half an hour into your workouts, you may be spinning your wheels.  Surprise!  Muscles don’t grow while you are working out, they grow while you are resting!
